Saviez VineyardsTasting Room Now Open by Appointment
After months of hard work, we are finally putting the finishing touches on our new Saviez Vineyards Tasting Room. As previously stated, this was the original site & footprint of our founder Françoise’s home back in 1900. The goal was to keep the down home country charm, while including all of the modern amenities. The result is a refined, beautiful space that also maintains the comfortable rustic charm that Saviez Vineyards is known for.
Walls have been built, French Doors installed, and new entryways created. Thankfully, the stone fireplace as well as the wood floors and beamed ceilings still remain, as does that warm, homey feel. The kitchen has been completely revamped, and should be a real joy to work in. The granite countertops and custom cabinets are beautiful, and with the new stove and appliances, this kitchen has everything it needs to prepare delicious home-cooked meals and excellent gourmet fare alike.
The tasting room itself is beautiful. Sharing the space with the old stone fireplace is our new custom-built, horseshoe-shaped bar, as well as some great old family photos. The new front deck adjoining the tasting room is a real treat, and is the perfect place to enjoy quintessential Napa Valley views of sprawling vineyards tucked amidst the rolling hills, not to mention the gorgeous sunsets.
The most exciting part of our tasting room being open is that now our Saviez Vineyards Customers and Wine Club Members will be able to enjoy not only our relaxed picnic area when weather permits, but also some select, intimate events throughout the winter season, such as fireside tastings.
