Saviez Vineyard Management implements use of "Pressure Baum"

For 2007, Saviez Vineyard Management will be implementing the use of a device known as a “Pressure Baum” for all of our vineyard management clients. This tool has been in use for some time now in the Viticulture industry, as well as in other agricultural applications, to monitor plant moisture stress.

Saviez Vineyard Management purchases new equipment

Recently, Saviez Vineyard Management purchased a New Holland C190 Skid Steer Tractor, a somewhat smaller Tractor utilizing rubber drive tracks instead of metal ones.

The unique thing about this fantastic new tool is that it has rubber tracks instead of metal ones. This makes it much lighter, and enables us to get into tight places without marring your asphalt, or unnecessarily compacting your vineyard soil.

Along with this great new tractor, Saviez Vineyard Management also purchased some very useful attachments.  By eliminating the need to rent these items, or sub-contract these services, it will turn in to quite a savings for you. Check these out…

  • Trenching Unit: Allows for quick installation of irrigation pipes and electrical conduit.
  • End Post Driver: Previously this has been a very expensive service that was sub-contracted out.
  • Hydraulic Auger: This item coupled with the lightweight small tractor will enable us to quickly dig out fence post holes in areas that were previously difficult to reach.
